We are seeking a Manager Software Engineering who excels in enhancing team productivity and predictability. In this role, you will guide our engineering teams in the Netherlands and Spain, focusing on streamlining processes and improving the performance from all team members. While technical expertise is beneficial, the primary focus of this role is on leadership, process optimization, and ensuring personal growth of the team members.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and support engineering teams to achieve high levels of performance and productivity
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team culture, ensuring open communication and continuous learning
- Identify and remove obstacles that hinder team performance and productivity
Process Improvement
- Analyze and optimize workflows and processes to enhance team efficiency and project outcomes
- Implement best practices in agile project management, ensuring that teams deliver high-quality work on time
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve team predictability and overall effectiveness
Strategic Planning
- Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and team members to align engineering activities with business objectives
- Set clear goals and objectives for the team, ensuring alignment with Floorganise’s overall strategy.
- Prioritize tasks and resources effectively to meet project deadlines and deliverables
Performance Management
- Monitor team performance, providing regular feedback and conducting performance reviews.
- Identify skills gaps and training needs, facilitating professional development opportunities for team members.
- Ensure that the team has the necessary tools, resources, and support to perform at their best
Collaboration and Communication
- Act as a key liaison between engineering teams, product owners, and other stakeholders
- Promote effective communication within and between teams to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals
- Lead daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies to keep teams on track and focused.

About You
- Education:,Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Management)
Experience
- Proven experience in managing and leading process improvement efforts
- Demonstrated success in improving team productivity, efficiency, and predictability.
- Experience in agile project management and process optimization.
- Technical background in software engineering is beneficial but not required
