We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented QA engineer to join our dynamic team at Floorganise. As a QA engineer for Floor2plan Shipyard-MES, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing methodologies, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.
Functions and responsibilities as QA Engineer
- Test Planning: Collaborate with the development and product teams to create comprehensive test plans based on project requirements.
- Test Automation: Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency.
- Test Execution: Execute manual and automated test cases to identify software defects, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
- Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to validate that software changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
- Reporting: Track and report bugs and document QA regression metrics (e.g.: test coverage, pass/fail rates) to guide data-driven decisions. Maintain test documentation and contribute to knowledge bases.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand project requirements and ensure effective communication throughout the development lifecycle. Be part of our development team and participate in Retrospectives and sprint planning meetings.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality assurance process.
Requirements
- Experience with front-end test automation and manual testing.
- Excellent English Proficiency.
- Having worked with Selenium WebDriver in C# and/or with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
