Shipyard Process Consultant – Floorganise (Netherlands)
Based in the Netherlands · Supporting Dutch & European Shipyards
Floorganise is on a mission to modernize shipbuilding. We help shipyards across Europe transform their production processes, boost productivity, and adopt data‑driven ways of working. To strengthen our team, we’re looking for a Shipyard Process Consultant who wants to make a real impact in one of the world’s most unique industries.
About the role
As a Shipyard Process Consultant, you’ll work closely with shipyards—primarily in the Netherlands and across Europe—to optimize production processes and support their transition toward digital, integrated operations. You bring shipbuilding expertise; we equip you with our advanced Shipyard-MES platform, Floor2Plan, to drive measurable improvement on the yard floor.
Tasks & Responsiblities
Analysis of shipyard operations: identify opportunities for digital optimization. Gain an understanding of how the shipyard works from the client´s upper management level. Formulate the knowledge capture on how the shipyard operates, what roles they have, how they organize planning, etc. Map existing workflows in the Floor2Plan platform.
Translate operational needs into clear technical requirements: for our software and implementation teams. Be the technical mediator, leveraging your shipyard expertise and understanding of the Floor2Plan platform to guide solution design.
Guide the implementation process:, ensuring that solutions align with real-world production needs. Assist and train the customer on how to use our product.
Meet with the clients: both in-person and remotely for Kick-off meetings, demos and presentations, and other subsequent meetings. Interact with their upper Management level to understand who to speak to (and who runs the shipyard on the shopfloor). Set expectations of what the client is getting and how Floor2plan will affect them. Lead clients through deployment planning, change management discussions, and functional demonstrations.
Collaborate closely with our internal team: including business analysts, project managers, tech leads, and product owners to ensure successful delivery and alignment across all parts involved. Provide insights from shipyard operations to influence product development and implementation approaches.
