The maritime sector is actively working on solutions to tackle these challenges. Affordable and efficient cross-supply chain collaboration to ensure timely delivery is a challenge that requires attention. Companies are already stepping up to drive these efforts. Floorganise. Triggering smart Shipbuilding

About the role

As a project manager, you proactively engage in the internal improvement processes of our shipbuilding clients. Whether it involves shortening lead times, reducing risks, working hours, or enhancing the predictability of production standards. Your technical background (in business administration and IT) enables you to swiftly grasp shipbuilding and the challenges faced by our clients. You promptly identify potential improvement measures, partly due to the insights our MES application provides.

Your familiarity with Lean practices, along with your natural curiosity for finding ways to make things better, enables you to effectively lead projects and initiatives focused on improvement. Collaborating with your colleagues (the software development team) in Zwolle, you establish and oversee (sub) projects through to completion. For you, a commitment is steadfast, the customer comes first, your approach is organized, you foster a cooperative spirit, and occasional international travel (about 2 times a year for a week) poses no issue.

About Floorganise

We are a young company with big ambitions. There are more and more shipyards worldwide that are looking for a solution to bridge the distance between the office and the shop floor. Our Floor2Plan application supports them in a series of steps that occur in the primary process of shipbuilding. In addition to carrying out projects, we are very busy with R&D. The project manager also plays an important role in this. Namely, identifying improvement measures (based on the knowledge developed by our customers and their more generic issues), elaborating into improvement proposals and ensuring their implementation (testing what our developers engineer for this purpose). At Floorganise you have an excellent opportunity to develop and grow. You will also receive support from us in the form of training, courses, etc.
